For independent, multiline agencies, technology has become a critical difference-maker in operating more productively, profitably and cost-efficiently.
To recognize agencies making the most innovative use of technology in selling and servicing commercial and personal lines, as well as group and individual life and health insurance, National Underwriter—in partnership with the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum—invites nominations and entries for the second annual “NU Agency Technology Achievement Award.”
Agents are encouraged to enter their IT initiatives for consideration, explaining how they creatively employed technology to grow their business, better serve their carriers and insureds, as well as streamline their operations. In addition, insurance companies, managing general agencies and technology vendors are welcome to nominate an agency for NU to contact about entering the award program.
Three award winners will receive roundtrip airfare and a three-night hotel stay to attend the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum in Orlando, May 17-19, 2009. Their award-winning approaches will be profiled in NU’s May 18, 2009 edition.
The trio will also share the secrets of their tech success during a panel discussion at the ACORD LOMA Forum, highlights of which will appear in NU’s June 22 edition.
